I fish the Mississippi River Pool 9 and I catch walleyes and saugers as well as some roughfish; sheephead, redhorses and carp. One time however, my brother saw whitebass coming to the surface to eat dead minnows that were discarded by other fishermen, so he took a Gum Drop Floater, tipped it with a minnow and casted with a tiny 'shot. All of a sudden, he hooked something that appeared to be a whitebass, but when he reeled it in we saw a drum like fish that had two cute little bug eyes that glowed and some sharp teeth. Then a guy next to us said that it is called a mooneye. Anybody who has caught such a fish please tell.

    Tight lines.
