You would have to see the lake. It's surrounded by huge cliffs. No raccoons or beavers or anything. |

bottom fishing in the chespeake bay aruond the 1st island, caught an old cadillac hubcap cover with start fish, little later my buddy caught a old penn rod/reel setup, and his dad caught a crab trab with starfish all over it. the funniest thing i have seen caught was we ere catfishing on the james around the benjamin harrison bridge, everyone was sleeping until one guys rod started screaming! this thing was taking line like a world record fish, 1.5 hours later we got it to the boat - a KING SIZE bed sheet! was freaking hilarious, my buddy was not very happy. |

One and a half hours for a bed sheet, must have been some pretty good current there. I'll bet that not many have had thier catch in that area be more than 6' long. |

My dad's girlfriend's grandsons caught a snapping turtle out of a lake up here in Washington. And that kind of turtle doesn't live in this part of the country. So where did it come from? I'll try to find the picture and post it. |

I have caught small turtles and eels but the record for me was a snapping turtle the size of a tire. got it on the dock and the sucker chased me around jumping and hissing...it took three guys to grab it and throw it back in the lake..I have no idea how i got it on the dock in the first place since it was 97 degrees and I'd been drinking all day. |

One time I was pier fishing and lost my rig on one of the poles holding the pier up. Went back the next day and and was fishing when I hooked something heavy. I pulled up my rig with an 34 inch eel skin attached to it. Yes the skin of of an eel. I have no idea how that happened and it still boggles my mind |
