I am not sure why Pete. It does not seem fair that I would get it and you don't.  We are both life members.  Of course some of the older life members did not get the life members gifts newer members get either.  I have gotten the $25 check every year except the first year.  I always call them and they send the form right out.  And Hoos. They pay up to $25  of what you paid. I don't think it matters if it was a trout stamp or not.   You have to have the receipt and copy your license that shows the fee paid.  But the trick is to get them to send out the form.
Good Luck amd Good Fishing !

I was told that by member services. I harbor no bad feelings toward the club. As you said, it just depends on what was offered at that particular time...But like you, I have gained much more than I have invested! The only reason why I renewed my membership and went lifer was because of this site. It gave me the opportunity to meet and talk with some of the best folks I have ever known...

part of the reason they want you to be life members is a numbers thing. Once you are a life member they can count you as a member for ever. When it comes to ad money they can get more ads and more for their ads in the mag and website if they have 2 million members than if they have half a million members. The more life members they have then they don't have to worry about losing numbers.

I've been a life member since 1997 and a Trophy member since 09 and I have never herd of the rebate for fishing license. It really doesn't matter that much to me anyway. I'm a disabled veteran so my annual license is only $11. use to be free but, our governer need a new car or something so now we have to pay. It is nice to know that the rebate is there if needed. Thanks for the info stealthfisher.

check with customer service it was part of some life member packags but only for a very limited amount of time. i guess they figured out the math quickly and saw it could end up taking all the resources to continue this perk for everyone.

Hey guys, it ONLY applies to those that were offered it as part of their "going Lifer" package! Soooo, call member services to find out OR if you still have your info for going "lifer", look it up...It's that simple!

Pete hit the nail squarely here

It ALL depends on whether or not it was part of YOUR personal Life Membership offer.

It's just one of those things that changes in the Life Member package deal from time to time

This is the 1st year I did not get a rebate!  I got the form from the club, sent in the receipt to the club., waited., waited and waited., No rebate., Contacted the Club and was advised they did not receive anything from me. and said to resubmit!  Kind of hard when you send the "original receipt' into the club.

Jesse, the same happened for me. I discovered that my "Life Member" package did not include this...Oh well! Sooo, not all life memberships are equal! Be sure to check if it was included in your package before ya wack the management!

turnip: Good mornin' fellow Deputy-Sheriff*, well let me share this "TRUTH" I was offered Life-Membership in May, 2005. I accepted. When I got my NAFCLM: Packet this is 1 of what "MANY-LIFERS" were not aware of. I even started a post in the Life-Member thread. I believe it was in 2007 or so, not very sure* I'm Sure you're familiar with the term; "A Pictures Worth a 1,000 Words. here's my example of what I'm mentioning here.   In 2005 all I was told by Member serv. was to send them a copy of my fishing lic/reciept. so I did as instructed. in '06 I called the club & the rep. that I was speaking to said she had "NO-IDEA" of such a benefit. she asked me to hold while she talked to a Supervisor. Well as I waited "PATIENTLY", the call droped/hung-up? I became "Very-Furious"!* I was soo angry, my health took not-so-good a turn. Anyway...then all of the sudden they tell me my life-membership has been "CANCLED"* the date of cancelation was in the year 2014! When I joined Life-Membership in May '05 the cost was $261.00, they did return the dues I'd pd. to that point. I signed that "FUNNY-LOOKING" check sent it back & asked they apply it to my life member dues, which they did. I recieved all but the Personalized fishing pole! I'd finished paying them in full $261.00 sometime in 2006. I've already been Dx'd with whaty they now call "P.T.S.D." Let me show you another item I recieved from NAFC: & The Peize de resistance*... Last "BUT-NOT-LEAST" Not 1 but 3 different NAFC-Membership-Cards...e.g. 2-Reg.Mbr, & 1-NAFCLM* BTW: Which I paid for in "FULL"!... Top card's dated; 2005, middle1;11/07, NAFCLM: card dated 05/2005!??**, Well folks I've been on the "BOX" Long enough, I feel my BP's going up, & getting chest & arm pains again. So I'm done complaining! Just wanted to share my experience with The NAFCLM'S:* As Many of the folks that were here before the 1st SO-CALLED "UP-GRADE"* We lost alot of "GREAT-FOLKS" Joda: , Lipripper: , Silversalmon: , & many More! "VERY-SAD"!! "Take Care", L8r. James,"VATO LOCO"

P.S. I "STRONGLY-BELIEVE THE NAFC OWES ME 4-yrs. FOR LICENSE-REBATES"**-$125.00
