Bayliner.. Don't bother.. I've tried it and it doesn't work! Don't get me wrong.. they're good..too good! By the time I get done snackin' on them, I have no bait left! Good Fishing, Sluggo (Chris)
ps.. if you like "spicey".. add a shake or two of Tabasco sauce!

A fellow who fishes only walleye sent this to me. He swears by it. I'm going to try it.

    One tablespoon Garlic Powder.
    One teaspoon Ground Parsley.
    One cup Vegtable oil.
    1/2 teaspoon Salt.

Mix the ingredients together in a small container. This recipe works best with live
minnows. Dip the minnow into the sauce for
one (1) minute before throwing out your line.
He said one of the nice things about this
recipe is that there is no bad oder to it.

I'm going to make some up and give it a try. Nothing to loose.

I don't know about scents. Even the guy that develops them for Berkeley said they don't really work in one of the fishing mags over the last 10 months or so. He did say that it might help the fish make a second strike if it missed the first time. I experimented with several scents over the years and while I first thought they were working, I've given up on that opinion since.

Chris. That's my problem. I'd probably end up putting it on chips or crackers and washing it down with a cold one. The guy that sent it to me did say "It has a damn nice taste to it". Confused<!--graemlin::confused:-->

I think the best bait still for Walleyes is a minnow or leech on a Lindsy rig. It has never ever failed me.
