    You must either catch some crayfish or at least know what they look like to be able to come up with color sets in lures, such as skirt colors for jigs.

    I can select a species and try to only include the colors I see in a picture. By trial & error you can learn which species inhabit a particular area of the lake, or ask the local biologists.

    If you get too wild with colors that don't resemble crayfish the bass see, it can be a turn-off.

    You should be able to find a similar listing for your area.
