Many of use use different attractants to give the Fish something to taste and smell. I have two not so secret secrets to share.

1: when using soft baits ( worms, tubes swimbaits) that are not scented try putting crushed sea salt into the bag and let it sit a few days befor using them. Because rubber and soft plastics can absorb the salt .

2: When using a tube squirt any liquid or gel scent into the tube instead of on top of it. This also will keep the scent around the lure longer.

    GOOD LUCK

The only thing I use now is MEGASTRIKE. It was proven to me how this works for real over and over again. There is a video of this as well if you want to watch.

I've found the Best attractant is Anise Extract or Annisette liquor...I read about this in Greshams' Bass Fishing book and believe me it works....With tubes I take a cotton ball, soak it in anisette and stuff it inside the tube...Largemouth bass just seam to love this scent.

I have never really used attractants, but i love using scented baits, Berkley Power baits and the Gulp! Alive selection. There is a bait that i used to use for crappies and i can't find them any longer but they were grape , watermelon and liquorish scented. They were called Crappie Critters, they looked like a may fly larvae in a way. They had a grub body and a split tail then on the body were little legs on each side, 4 on each, they worked great for panfish. As far as sprays or gels i'll have to try them, i just never really had any reason to use them, but i have more of an open mind than i did before, ill give it a try.

Megastrike Only. Please just take a look at the Megastrike website and read just a little about it before talking about scents. It will really open your eyes as to the truth about this.
