    Good luck to your knot BA. I just have a hard time understanding all of these complicated knots that rarely outperform the Palomar by a measurable margin and are much harder to tie. I go fishing to catch fish, I'll leave the knot tieing demos to the sailor boys! Tom

    i have a knot question.... i usually use the snell for larger hooks and lines for stripers, cats and a lot of saltwater rigs i tie.... is there a better knot that the snell for these applications

    I doubt it. I use the Uni snell, but I'm fishing 1-6 lb fish almost all the time. Big water(Lk. Mich) it's a palomar because we're fishing trebles that are hidden in the lure. Tom
