Here are an assortment of fishing pics from our last August 7th - 11th trip to our cottage on Rainy Lake. The best time for fishing was 1:00pm - 4:00pm which is somewhat unusual <!--graemlin::confused:-->. We hooked most all of them in 38' of water jigging with clown-colored jigs with minnows, leaches and worms. Minnows worked more consistantly. We got more than 20 walleye around this size (17"). This is one of the rare times Brett would take a pic of my fish <!--graemlin::D--> The tape measure doesn't lie <!--graemlin::D--> My stringer of slot-sizers after 2 hours of fishing in +30C weather. Not bad, eh? Oh yeah....Brett caught a few nice sized walleye's too <!--graemlin::rolleyes:--> <!--graemlin::D--> This one went 23" Another 20" 'eye for Brett The same 20"er "shooting" right at ya <!--graemlin::D--> Brett with a "top-of-the-slotter" which is 17-1/2" Brett with a "nuisance" northern that bled all over my boat <!--graemlin::mad:--> Did I remeber to say that I hooked a few <!--graemlin::eek:-->? All these pics seem to have Brett's mug in them <!--graemlin::D-->. I actually out-fished him this trip but like I said he hates to take my pic <!--graemlin::D-->. Here is another one where I let him hold MY stringer <!--graemlin::D--> I hooked this 24"er that Brett measured out for me as I took the pic Of course we never seem to be without boat/motor trouble <!--graemlin::rolleyes:-->. This is a pic of me working on my brother-in-laws motor linkages. We had a 6-boat fishing derby going that night so the kids were laughing at us because we spent more time fixing the linkage than we did fishing. I got it fixed (I'm bent over working on it) and we had the last laugh when we outweighed everyone and won the derby anyway <!--graemlin::cool:--> Here's a pic of Heidi as she eagerly awaits us to throw her stick off the dock for her
