Attached are a few pics of my son Brett and myself ice fishing on Whitefish Lake on Dec. 9/06. There was anywhere between 5"-7" of ice. We were basically the only ones fishing the lake that early this year but we felt confident the ice was thick/strong enough to hold us. We hooked several walleye but we were hoping for a load of perch, which unfortunately they had lockjaw this day <!--graemlin::D-->.This is a picture early in the morning after we had just gotten set up and Brett was still waking up <!--graemlin::D-->. We have a 3hp 10" Jiffy ice auger that took all of 10 seconds to chew through the ice <!--graemlin::eek:-->. Gotta love power like that <!--graemlin::cool:-->. This is a picture of Brett when he decided to give his snowmachine a rest and do some jigging <!--graemlin::D-->. This is one of a few walleye's Brett hooked. A nice 16" walleye makes for good eating, eh? <!--graemlin::cool:--> This is a picture of myself moving from hole to hole trying to convince dem walleye's to hit my line <!--graemlin::D-->. I hooked a couple walleye's early in the morning but Brett wasn't around to take the pics. He was this time as I pulled this 14" walleye from the hole. This one cost panfisherteen $5 of which he must pay to whomever turnip instructs him to <!--graemlin::p--> <!--graemlin::D-->.
