Chinook and I went on a midnight run to the Mat-Su Valley for Kings this last Saturday. We arrived shortly after the midnight opening. Chinook caught 3 Kings in the first 3 hours. (I got skunked) We moved to another creek and I finally had a fish on. I began to think I was playing poker and not fishing.

I caught a pair of Jacks (Kings under 20 inches)



I continued being dealt Kings until I had a Full House (pair of Jacks and 3 Kings)







And then I was dealt a fourth King so I beat the full house with 4 of a kind with Kings...



I also managed a bonus early arrival to the creek 1 Chum Salmon...



Chinook should have his pics posted soon!! I will not tell them about the sucker fish I also dragged in by the pooper Chinook.
