Today Scott and I tackled the mighty Blue Marsh...Usually when Scott and I fish together the skunk rides with us...LOL!  But today was a different story!  We knew that it was only a matter of time before these fishies would give it up, our persuit was persistant!

The battle was horrific...but in the end us "Bushwackers" (and that's another story) stood alone!

We had several follow-ups and lost some at the boat, and even had one throw a hook when it was in flight!  We only fished until noo, which turned out to be good timing as it rained soon after!  We shall return to do battle again on Saturday evening!

For those of you that have been following my Rapala thread in the "Lures & Baits" forum, check out the lure I used today...This particular glass rap has more than proved its self just about any where in the country...

How can you possibly go again so soon, you should rest up at least a day or two after fighting those monsters.

Glad you left the skunk at the dock.

             Best of luck Saturday fellas.

John, I don't think so, but it is a Rapala lipless bait.  I'll let Scott speak to that as it is his lure.

This is the one I was using...

This is the smaller of the two that I have posted in my thread (GR4).  The larger one is a GR5...

It's good to hear that the skunk is out of the boat. Maybe the stinch will be 100% gone next time, and you two can bring in them biggins.

Just as a follow up, we did manage a couple fish Sat. evening. We tried to get photos but they were just to big to fit in the frame. Sorry folks.
