here is my 3 yrs old son pulling in his first huge bass. It was caught in our backyard pond. I had to give him a hand due to the heavy cover. i must say it felt good to be a pond bass. Catch and relase is our .

thanks everybody for the comments,  but let me make a correction it was not a 20 pounder. Not even close but it felt thunderous to my 3 yrs old.

A great job of fishing for a little guy. That is one he won't forget for awhile. It will be in his dreams and thoughts for some time to come.

    .

Its the way to go... "get a kid hooked on fishing and not on drugs" and I do believe this young guy will be on the right track. Keep up the good work dad and good luck fishing!

I agree if all fathers involved their kids boy or girls in the things that matter to them then we will raise up a generation that will carry on great traditions and values. As for me I love to fish and it would be sad not to involve the family " even the wife who is not to fond of it this moment,"

I think the bass isn't the only thing that got hooked that day. Good job and congrats.

Wow! that was great.  It wasn't 20# because it was a whale, that just looked like a bass.  Super catch.

I haven't been on here in quite awhile but I must say it brought tears to my eyes to hear the excitement in Elijah's voice! That was worth looking at several times, the only thing that was a little disappointing was he was not in the picture next to you holding that beautiful bass. Thanks for the fishing enjoyment that I didn't have this year!!!
