thats ironic. I also had a slow day. Went out to catch some bluegill. Got out there and I noticed the sky got darker and darker. Soon it started to rain, 5 minutes later it started to pour. Big deal I've got big pine trees above my head. 5 more minutes I hear one of the biggest cracks of thunder I've ever heard.  THAT AIN'T GOOD. IF LIGHTNING HITS THAT GIGANTIC TREE I'M DEAD. I was only able to fish for 30 minutes. And got 6 gill, the biggest being 11 1/2 inches long. I wish I was able to take a picture of it becuase that bad boy was HUGE. I was glad I was able to catch some fish before it rained. Sometimes things just don't go your way. I'm gonna try and go out this Labor Day!
