Nice job. That is sad though that it will most likely be your last trip. |

Look like the last trip up here with the cost just going higher each year. We didn't do too well this year boated one steelhead , three coho's and three kings. Lost 4 and 5 releases with out a hook-up. Tall Paul with the first fish a nice coho: .....come on smile will ya !!!!!! I guess that small salmon wore him out...... Cuz'n Bucky with a 20+ pounder a few day later..... Brother Stan with the biggest fish of the trip....... come on Stan get it up so I can get a good picture..........he said this it..... My steelhead........ the total for that day On the left is Bucky's the two big ones are Stans and I had a coho and steelhead...... |

Nice pics Ed, thanks for sharing. I hear ya about the increasing costs. This spring we tried a different spot for our spring smallie trip to try and save some bucks. It wasn't as good as the spot we usually go to so we're going back to the hot spot for our fall trip tomorrow. Angry Bob

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I should clear up one point here about the last trip. It will be the last trip for a 7 to 10 night stay. I can run to Lake Ontario from my camp in under 1.5 hours pulling my boat for a day trip. The cost of 4 of those trips would just be gas used for one trip in my truck for the 7-10 day deal. Now add the $1000+ for staying at Catfishcreek and I can make a LOT of day trips......... So I will be back up there but not at Catfishcreek for the long stay. |

IDK, but those fish looked really nice to me. The salmon I've caught are little, bout the size of my forearm, so those look like whales. Keep up the good work. I'm glad you posted.
