Fall fishing for walleyes this year has produced some walleyes with "big shoulders".  All fish below were hooked this Sept. /09 fishing mid-day and jigging with minnows.

ElizabethLake19inWalleye-1.jpg picture by WalleyeWayne19" Walleye - Elizabeth Lake - Biggest one of the day

ElizabethLakeStringer.jpg Elizabeth Lake Stringer Sept 2009 picture by WalleyeWayne
Elizabeth Lake stringer - small (13" - 14") but alright for a fry!

MarksLake23inWalleye.jpg Marks Lake 23in Walleye picture by WalleyeWayne
Marks Lake 22" walleye - Caught at mid-day on a 12' hump surrounded by 40' of water - on this day we boated & released 9 walleye over 22"

MarksLake22inWalleye.jpg Marks Lake 22in Walleye picture by WalleyeWayne
Marks Lake 23" walleye - caught mid-day one week later on a hump - no wind/chop, no cloud cover...but they were hitting!

MarksLake25inWalleye.jpg Marks Lake 25in Walleye picture by WalleyeWayne
Marks Lake 26" walleye - caught 15 minutes after the one pictured above. Ain't fall fishing great?

MarksLake26inWalleye.jpg Marks Lake 26in Walleye picture by WalleyeWayne
Marks Lake 25" walleye - same situations as described above.

MarksLakeTwin22inWalleyes.jpg Marks Lake Twin 22in Walleyes picture by WalleyeWayne
Marks Lake twin 22" walleyes - these two were taken home as part of our 8 fish limit because we couldn't hook any smaller ones to take home - the other 6 we took home were all under 18".

MarksLake27inWalleye.jpg Marks Lake 27in Walleye picture by WalleyeWayne
Marks Lake 27" walleye - notice our marker in the background - it marks the 12' hump we were fishing and was absolutely the hottest spot on the lake.  In three consecutive weekends we boated 24 walleye measuring at least 22" with the largest (no pic) being 30". In total we must have hooked at least 125 walleye...but how do you accurately count that many anyways

MarksLakeStringerSept1909.jpg Marks Lake Stringer Sept 19 2009 picture by WalleyeWayne
Marks Lake Stringer - Sept. 19/09 - A typical stringer we took home the three weekends we fished this lake this fall.

The fall here in Northern Ontario was one like we've never had. The temps. hovered around 24C with little wind or clouds. It made up for the brutal summer we had where it was rainy and cool most of the summer.

Thanks for the help learning how to post the pics guys. It really is easy and that's probably why I couldn't figure it out right away. There were a couple good shore lunches Pete and a couple good feeds taken home for the rest of the family

Boy you guys really got into the eye's!!!  Fishing is fun when there's alot of catching going on!  We had the same weather pattern this year as you did. Cool wet summer and warm dry in September. Now we're back to cool and wet.

Awesome walleyes Wayne, thanks for posting! Depending on what browerser your using, posting pics is totally different. It's a lot easier using IE compared to firefox! Hope the fishing stays good up there for ya!
