"Besides I'm tired of the same old same old" Make some suggestions then, please.
"If I have to cook for them I may as well eat with them".
That shall be your choice I guess.
Like you said these meals are not mandatory for anyone to attend. I am assuming your "commitment" is refering to attending the "nightly non-mandatory meals".??
Cannot contemplate ANY changes if NO ONE says a darn word one way or the other can we???? |

Are you wanting to replace everything we had in the past? I know we had Bratts; so how about Italial Sausage with green peppers and onions sauteed together. Like they do at Carnivals??? <!--graemlin::confused:--> |

Don't know what to tell ya about the brats or sausage up here! As far as I know, you are the only one who has brought this "observation" up! Do you have any ideas how this could be corrected. I am all ears if you do! |

I guess I bring this up because of what I noticed at Lc and wondered if there was an alternative to "Johnsonville?" No disrespect was intended or implied...geee!

I had a great time at the Lacrosse meet and can't comment on the Gwinn meet, but I will say, if ALL the Meets were the same, they would get boring very fast. Each person has their own reason for going to all the meets, or just one or two meets. If you didn't like the Gwinn meet - don't go, other wise, HELP make it a better meet for next year. Go ahead - jump in and say HEY - I am going to do this or that to HELP OUT with next years Meet(s). From what I gather, no one person is in charge - it is a group effort that the meets go as well as they do. Want to see something changed - step up to the plate and get it changed, ask how you can help, or plain just don't go. If enough of you wine and complain - well, others are going to say "why bother" and just scrap the meet for that area - then where will you be? |

I did not say there was any "disrespect" in your post.., geez! I was just asking for a suggestion from you. They do have a place or two here that make their own Italian Sausage maybe we could give that a try next year? |

One thing though - years ago at the carnivals they also had tomato sauce to put on the sauage, onions & peppers. To me, that made it 10 times better but they probably quit because it was too messy. That wouldn't be a problem at the meet.
There's a place here in Pinckney, Hunky Dog, that has all kinds of sausage. Dearborn Meats is another good source.
Next year when it's time to buy groceries and Pete reminds of all these suggestions, we can check prices, maybe taste test a few samples & decide what to get. |

There's plenty of time yet so keep an eye on this thread for others looking for a place to stay and maybe you can find a room-mate or 2.
Ski has said he is coming next year. I roomed with him & his son Eric in the past so he might be looking for room-mates. |

I checked out the Members Photo Albums & got an error message that new albums are not being accepted. I was getting the same message before the Gwinn meet. Is availability intermittent or is it a problem on my end?
Wow - must be a blue moon somewhere, I've posted 4 messages tonight. |
