I am going to plan a members meet for the summer of 2007. I would like to see a 2 day event that would facilitate available members or friends could attend either day or both days over a weekend. We could have a mini fishing contest and salmon bake. I would like to hear from any Alaska members interested in planning or attending what I believe would be the 1st members meet for our State. I would also like to hear from any members outside the State of Alaska that might be planning a visit during the summer months of 2007 (when and where).

Want to get dates and location set by March 2007. Initial thoughts include:

June - Mat-Su Valley or Copper Center
July - Salcha or Mat-Su Valley or Kenai
August - Valdez or Mat-Su Valley
