Well guys & gals, it is time to start the planing for this fun event!  The last two years it has been held at Blue Marsh and it has been a one day event, including a cook out.

    Sooo, what's your pleasure?

If it is held in the same location as the last two years, it will be in Berks county (?), West of Reading on RT. 183.  It is about a 45 min. drive for me.  The name of the lake is Blue Marsh.

WOW that is in my ole stomping grounds!  I grew up in Adams County Pa.  5 miles west of Gettysburg in a little village called Seven Stars.  I loved trout fishing on all those nice streams that run through that area.  Hope you all have a great turn out Pete.

As soon as everyone weighs in we'll set a date.  Haven't heard from Jas73, Scottepth, Lendog, Grace and several others...I guess I'll have to get on the ole land line!

You're right, Dan.  It is a good time!  Plenty of food and fishing!

You are right Lenny; we usually do have it in May on or after the opening day of walleye (May 3rd this year). I usually go after LM Bass and Walleye at these meets but this year I would like to target Striped Bass. I would say have it at Blue Marsh or Raystown because these two lake should take care of everyone’s fishing needs. Just keeping in mind that most of the boats used at these meets are over 20hp. Any of you have any other ideas.

May 8,9,10 won't work for me.  I'll be at the north east meet.  The rest of the month is good tho...

I have started a thread for this meet in the "temporary" site for those having trouble posting here.

We will need to think about food.  Same as before?  When you post that you are attending, please indicate if you will be bringing a boat.  There may be a couple of folks that don't have one.

Jas, the stripers are HOT at Blue Marsh!

We should start deciding where and when the meet will be. Only 3 mouths and May will be here unless you guys and gals want it sooner.

Place: Blue Marsh or Raystown would be fine with me. Although Blue Marsh probably would be best since most of the people that go to this meet live closer to that lake.

When: these are the weekends that will work for me in May 17th 24th 31st. I would also be able to go the last 2 weekends of April too.

Let me know what date you come up with, as long as I don't work, I'll be there. It will probably be me and Bruce with Bruces boat. I'll bring hot dogs and buns. Boy this site is moving slow!:(
