Sounds good to me Cuz...they shouldn't have any trouble renting a space...as all the kiddies are back in school and the campgrounds have SPACE available Eeker

Remember your topwaters for the smallies on the Chip Mossies. The water is very stained and they'll hit them all day long. Don't be surprized to find them in spots you'd think would be largemouth water, like lilly pad fields. Good luck.

This may not be the place or time; but I'd like to invite everyone attending this meet to come to Gwinn Michigan next June 13-20. A detailed posting can be see on the Gwinn 2009 Meet thread. Dave Left yesterday morning and the last I heard, he was going to make it like a 4 day trip. So I would say it will be a couple days yet before he checks in.

Wow...I was beginning to wonder if anyone was going to come back to this thread!!! I've been checking but nobody was posting. I'll be there with bells on my friends. I'm also looking forward to meeting the "Mossbacks". I've seen their postings from time to time but havent had the pleasure yet. My car is nearly packed in full now. Everyday I take something else out and add to the load.  At the same time I'm working out my plans for next years Gwinn Meet. If we don't get a few more to commit to the meet; I'll then cancell my plans for that completely.  I do like it up there and wished some of the old timers will attend in 2009. The dates are comfirmed for June 13-20th. It will begin with twqo days of free fishing. Thats another story...Later  Dennis & Debbie/Papa_d

Hey everybody!

Not long now! We've been sorting through all our gear trying to decide what not to bring...........looks like we even have the kitchen sink thrown in! Thanks for the pointers on the smallies Bob. We're bringing along our electric blanket so we should be toasty on these cool nights. Boy, camping isn't what it used to be! Who would ever think to bring along an elcetric blanket? Thank God and Tom E. for electricity!

A TV; Yep; thats on my list. Debbie has to keep up on the Soaps...I've decided to leave my swinsuit home and bring an extra pair of jogging pants. 59 deg. out this morning; so I guess the heater will pay off for my tent after all. Hope to see ya all soon; Dennis/Papa_d  PS: The Packers won their first; and without FraveIII Go Packers.
