Thursday kind of dragged on here at home until it was time to leave. I had talked with Ed (eRabbit) via email and he asked if I wanted to fish when I arrived. After some struggling, I decided that NO, I needed to set up camp when I got there. He was happy, he figured he could run to town, then come back and get a nap in before we arrived. I packed up the car... and I do mean PACKED, even the roof! Did I take a picture? NO! hard to believe, but it's true!
I picked Celeste up from school at 2:00pm and we hit I-90. She read the map for me the last leg and we arrived at Sunset On Seneca shortly before 4pm. The sun was shining and the weather was beautiful. After finally deciding WHERE I wanted to put my tent, I began. Celeste informed me, after being there 15 minutes, that she was bored! ugh... kids!!! I put her to work getting the tent poles ready.
Chuck (Harrington) and his son Byron were there at the camp. Chuck had a new tent this year, looking good! He showed me the trout that they had caught and he was thrilled with them! Pete (Turnip) and Frank (Wellsley)were MIA and I assumed that Ed was napping. I started taking things out of the car and Celeste asked me if I remembered the pies. Of course I did!! They'd all send me back home, had I forgotten them! Not long after, while I was still setting up camp, they all arrived. Ed walks over to us and is looking at something.. my shirt? I wasn't sure... then he yells to Pete.. "Yellow" and looks at Celeste and says "Pink". I was like.. "What are you doing?" He said that Pete had wondered what color my and Celeste's nails were.. thinking they might be blue like last year. "Sorry," I told them, "I had them painted Pittsburgh Steelers colors for the start of Football season this year."

I asked Ed if he had gotten his nap and he said that he did NOT get a nap because those "insert loving pet-name he had for Pete and Frank", came up and made sure he didn't nap! hee hee!
And, for added entertainment while setting up my tent.. I set off my car alarm. How embarassing. I guess I did it last year too, but I don't remember that. Celeste was shy, but the boys kept talking to her anyways. She soon warmed up to Frank. Next thing I know, I am setting up camp, and she is in Frank's camper with him talking about who knows what while Frank what making some "Frank Fries" for the Fish fry we were going to have tonight! In the mean time, Ed went back up to his camp to start the fish frying.
Celeste took the first picture with our camera of the meet.. of Frank.. when he was making the fries.

Once camp was set up, it was time to head to dinner. yum yum.. and what a meal it was!
I love fish fry and had never ever had cocktail sauce with my fish. I have had it with shrimp, but not fish. Let me tell you... YUMMY!!! Celeste began warming up now. Her and Ed even had a burping contest, which lasted the whole meet!
"Bad Rabbit.. Bad Bad!!" ah, not really, but it sure is fun to say!

After we ate, I broke out with one of the apple pies, I cut it into 8 slices. We were all so full of fish (and Celeste had chicken fingers), that we only ate 6 slices... So.. 2 slices came back with me to camp.
Back at camp, Frank shared his Hawaii vacation pictures with us on his laptop and soon after, Celeste was ready for bed. Honestly, I was too. So about 8:30 - 9:00, we hit the tent. A little light reading and then zzzzzz... we slept until morning.
