Well, after the spider incident, we gathered some warm clothes,
met with Ed and Frank, and headed to the launch ramp with the boat.
It's amazing what you an catch on camera when you are least expecting it.
I was just snapping pictures and l and behold, I managed to preserve
a picture of the very rarely seen Wabbit dance!

After the boat was in the water and we were heading across the lake..
Celeste looked at Ed and said.. "I like your boat!"

Celeste was fascinated with the depth/fish finder and good ole Ed gave her
a lesson. She listened real well and I am sure learned a thing or two.

As Ed set us up for the troll, Celeste took the time to soak in her surroundings. Be it a sunny day or overcast, Seneca Lake is beautiful! She also chit chatted with Frank. Overall, she was really relaxed out on the boat on the lake.

We began the troll.. I have no clue how deep, how cold, how far, or where we were... but I do know that the first hit was to be Celeste's fish! And finally... we had a bite. It happened so fast. Ed had her sit in the chair and he held up her rod tip while she reeled. She cranked the reel hard too. It's amazing as to how much a person can use their tongue when reeling in a fish. I think it helped Celeste, because she succeeded, and Frank netted it for her. Celeste caught her first lake trout that afternoon! She has since told me how hard it was reeling in that fish. That it was the hardest fighter she ver caught! :)

AHHH.. with that out of the way, she just sat back and relaxed with Frank. This was when she told Frank that this was her best fishing trip ever.

When we decided to head back in, Ed turned off the trolling motor and went to
start the big motor. Well, it didn't catch the first time and he said "ut oh." And
Celeste was like "What?" He told her the motor wouldn't start. She was a bit
nervous then. lol.. poor thing. Once we had her convinced he was joking, she
started singing to Ed, "Kill da Wabbit" ! On the way back across the lake, she
whooped it up yahooing about the waves and the boat bouncing.. and she sang,
of course. Ed whooped with her a while.. I took too many pictures and
blinded the poor man! It's hard trying to get a decent picture when I bounce
one way and Celeste bounces another. I also have some video that I am
uploading to You tube! I apologize to my friends if I let Celeste have too
much fun on the way back, but I was thrilled that she was not afraid of the bumpy ride.

Captain Wabbit!!!

Once back at the campground, Celeste carried that fish everywhere.
She had to show Pete! Ed cleaned Celeste's fish.(because it was too torturous to watch me try)
I cooked half of it up for her that night, and Frank made Venison sandwiches. Pete got a fire going.
Pete and Frank bought s'mores things for Celeste and she had a couple of
s'mores before the rain came down.. again. Thanks guys she loves S'mores!
