Roughly 4 years to go...so anyone that IS interested in going to this one definitly has time to prepare.

This Meet would be on WE BB Members to make it happen...as it's obvious the Club doesn't want any part of it.

That said....I would LIKE to think that someone in the Missouri / Kansas area could help us out and do some legwork....as I STILL feel that is the MOST central location to ALL. It wouldn't surprise me to see 100+ folks attend IF some BASIC plans were made....and that would mean a fairly large body of water....with some decent facilities available.

JMHO....my 1 cent worth of thought for the moment

I think we ALL know that WE are the club! I look forward to a "united" meet. All members make this club, but the ones who choose not to share in the forums will probably come out of the woodwork for this.

it is a pleasure to see so many people trying to get this celabration going. that said it is a shame that the nafc remembers some thing that happened years ago and it is holding it against every member that has contributed to this organization and willing to go the extra mile for them. i say that there should be rules at this get together like if you fight you will loose your membership and jail time. just one suggestion. but if the nafc is not willing to back it that wont happen. i have been to one meet and loved it. the people there are great. i will try to make it to the anniversary if i can.

It would appear that Kurt Beckstrom only checks the forum once a year guys so I doubt we have any chance of club involvement.

I just posted this in the Ohio thread and thought it should be here also. It's possible way to get this done WITHOUT the NAFC help or involement (sp) !!!!

Here is a thought ? idea !!!!

Ohio now has a web site for it's chapter could this be turned into a National Chapter web site ?

Cost for upgrades spread thru the total chapters that belong.

It would need/mean a lot of work for th IT guy but if we use some of the folks we have on the NAFC BB site to help it could be done and a Meet for all the Chapters could arise from it without involing the NAFC................

Sorry to jump into your post Rangeris4me but it may also help your cause !!!!

Ed, I like the idea for a regular 25th anniversary site, similar to theway we have the Ohio Chapter site set up, that way we can keep all of the information and progress all in one place. However, with that being said, we still need to utilize the NAFC site/forums for a tool to keep everyone including new members informed about this project. I would like to encourage all members that attend a member meet, to discuss this project and write down any ideas and suggestions and make sure that Pete, a.k.a. Turnip, gets it. We are looking for a central location of the country to hold this event, and that will accomodate all of our needs. Start spreading the word folks, this event is for us, the members. BD
