Thanks PSG. Preliminary testing showed no return of my husbands cancer and all organ function back to normal, As normal as he'll ever be, and that means no chemo which makes us both happy. I told him I would shave my head if he lost his hair over this so needless to say I'm happy I still have mine. It gave me night mares about pool cues and bowing balls . He goes back friday to get the official test results so maybe I might be able to talk him into taking a long drive on saturday so we can at least visit with ev1. If not I have plans to go out and fill my freezer with marble eyes and my deep fryer with carppie. ummm ummm ummm yummy!!!!! Have a fantastic day PSG and again thanks for the post, It's comments like that which brighten up the board . Now if someone in lacross would post a few pics of the giants they're catching I might not feel so guilty about catching all these bass out back. They're stacking up around the moss and cold water spring that feeds the lake and my arm is getting tired from all this lifting ........... |

Here is an update for those of you watching this thread...I called Canepole, talked with several members there and I was told that several tents were flooded, tents & poles broken / torn, but no one was injured! In fact, they were in the process of making breakfast!
Best of luck everyone! Have a great Meet! |

Hey to all from Ga!!!Has there been any discussion/leaks for the location of next years meeting?? I would like to get some Ga folks in/on the band-wagon for a trip to the next meeting. I actually work for a company located in Black River Falls Wi. (45 min. or so drive from LaCross) and wanted to come this year but was too late to get my plans together. I'm a relatively new member however am enjoying the club.....have already gone "Life Member" And am looking forward to getting more involved in some way, form or fashion! Any heads up would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Greg |

Hello Greg. I have yet to go on a jaunt with the group here in laCross but if it's anything like the last two years I would start planning with the boss for the week of July 13th. They have the fishing trip on the same time frame each year since I can remember the 2nd wendsday of july. Next year that falls on the 13th of july and they should be there "officially" from then till the next sunday. Untill you hear from muskygirl or someone else more involved with setting the time though I would only use that date for a good estamate. Hello to you and all your fellow georgians from us here in wisconsin. I'm here in hartland and someday hope to make it to the island too. Take care and I hope you get the exact info you need soon. Watch for it here. I'm sure Muskygirl can't wait to get planning it and posted for next year already. |

Catfish Cindy, Tom, and I got home ok. The boat cover wasn't as lucky. It got a big tear in it and I may have to replace it. We had a great time again this yearIt's just too bad some of our friends couldn't make it this year. They were missed and remembered. Hey Pete, HI, HOW ARE YA. and James you and your son need to reclaim your Pie Eating crowns. I've some pix in my camera and will try to post them as soon as I can. |
