Great lookin fish Guys.  And lookin forward to to meeting you n' Celeste too Susan.  Wont be long now, we decided to pull the boat out of our lake for the drive out, it's about 6.5 hr for us.  We are starting to pack up and get the ducks in a row here at work.  We are pushing to leave after work thursday and that puts us in town between 8Pm midnight.   But we get to wake up there!!!!  If it's too late we'll just crash in the truck a few hours somewhere and set up in the AM.

We're a commin'

I can't catch any fish so I took a pic of a rainbow. If you follow the rainbow to the right thats where erabbit's place is.

Nice double rainbow Frank!!

Not the same kind of Rainbow that Ed catches... but that is a nice picture.
Makes sense to be near Ed's house...  he has a heart of gold!

I used to get to fish a whole lot more than as of late. But I still love it and long to become the hopeless addict that I once was able to be.

I'm up at 0530 nobody stirring. So I took a shower. 0600 went over to Pete's and turned his coffee pot on. There was a couple of voices coming from the Ohio tent. The rooster is starting to crow so maybe things will come to life soon. It is 54 degrees and no rain here. Sounds like a good day. I think the reason I can't find the pike is there all hanging in the trees.

saw this in the local news this am.

Yates County -- Two people were in the water for several hours after their boat capsized on Seneca Lake Monday morning.

Joseph Greco and David Lewonczyk were fishing on the lake when their boat capsized around 9:30 a.m.

Greco and Lewonczyk were in the water for three to four hours before they were discovered by residents on shore, who called police.

Neither of the boaters were injured in the incident. No word yet on what caused the boat to turn over.

The overturned boat was recovered Monday night by the Yates County Sheriff's Marine patrol.

I guess they went over at Long Point , there was a nasty storm that was north of us yesterday maybe that's what happen..............the park guy told me they towed them in at Lodi and turn the boat over last night............today when I was put my boat back on I found a bag with spark plugs and bearing for a trail..........could be there's I gave to the park guy.........................................we had a slow bite today , We popped a 18" to 20" laker early but I didn't keep or work that area because I was after the BIG browns boated two brown about 12" and lost two or 3 other fish never boxed any thing..................had Big Dog and his dad with me and big dog landed his 1st Seneca laker today................

..............................................................

Seneca 9-15-2010
Went 8 for 11 or 12 nothing big..............lakers were from 17" to 20"...........
Brother Stan and his dog King went out with me today. Plan was the same as yesterday but work the laker area to see if we could get some thing else going. We boated 4 lakers in that area then I changed my mind and moved to a rainbow/salmon area instead of the brown spots....................picked up one dink salmon (10" is that a little small for stocking seems like they are around 12" years past)...........and kepy on working down to a better spot. Picked up a 20.5" @ 2# 12 oz one more dink and a laker also had about three misses for the day.................all spoons............every thing came 62' to 82' down over various depths...............temp break is better but much deeper than it should be................

We called up camp after we boated the bigger landlock told them were would be late for lunch because we had to make a few more passes thru that spot.............

Well we found out today the Dave (Osharpsaw) has never seen the serial # on ..... well it's one of those things you would have to be at the meet to know about. SMF LOL The weather today is not good wind and rain even if there was no rain the lake is pretty rough. We had dinner up to rabbits today excellant meal thanks Stan & Ed. There was Ed's not as famous as Carol's beans. Kilbasee, shrimp, tomato's and corn with grape pie for desert. Hoot was there and he didn't bring any of his hard cider.Tomorrow is another day the weather should be better lets hope.

After the great meal at erabbit's Pete and I took our good friends from Ohio to see the herd of white deer. We even manage to see a nice 5 point that bigdog got some good pic's of. After that we headed back through town.

We almost made it through but ... but... well ! The lady behind the counter recognized me and asked where Dad was (erabbit) ? I told her he had miss behaved and Ma wouldn't let him out.
