Go here and set up an account. CLICK HERE.

It`s free and they don`t spam you or nothing. A helpful tool to play with the pictures.

If your logged in to photobucket you should see "upload images and videos" in a box towards the top. Click the blue "choose files" button. A new window will open up with places on your computer to look for your pictures. They will more than likely be in a file called "my pictures" or something like that. Once you find the pic you want to use Right click on it and from the options that come up left click select. Your pic should start uploading to photobucket. When it does you will see it on the index screen in photobucket.

To get your avatar up we will need two windows/tabs open, one here and the other at photobucket. In window here, go to your account you will see registered guest info, click the edit button below it. You should then see a spot for your AVATAR  IMAGE URL. Now to the window/tab at Photobucket. If you put your mouse on your image it you will see some codes under it, one is called "Direct link". Put your mouse on the direct link and left click, it should show you in yellow that you have copied it. Back to the window/tab here, in the box for your avatar image url left click then right click, from the options that come up left click "paste". You should see the direct link is now in that box. IMPORTANT, click the save button. The site will save your info and you should see your avatar. It will show up in all your post, old and new.

If you need more help, send me a PM!!!!!

I must be doing something wrong, I put the direct link from photo bucket as the above directions state, I save it, but then it does not save and dissappears,  or at least when I recheck my profile the info is not there for the picture.

does it have to be thumbnailed first, any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated,  Maybe it is just my mug is so scarry and what not that I broke it, or they do not allow that kind of riff raff on this sight, hehe

I had a problem loading my avatar and had to use Compatability View to get it to post, but I have since been told that the site now runs in comatability view. Anyone else heard this? Tom

I have tracked down to the fact that I can not update my public account information, it does not matter what  I change in the form, and save it, it will not save.  also there are about 3 or 4 ways to get to your account info, and the only way I can get into it  is from the home page menu on the left hand side of the page, all other links do not work for me, any suggestions.?

Might be time to call Member Services. Of course they are probably open the same hours you work! Tom

Hey alright, someone must have heard my pleas, I can now get my account info from all the "my account" links, and it came up to a totally different page than I saw before,

and now obviously it worked. must have been a flaw that the memeber I.T. must have corrected, because nothing changed on my end, did everything the same as I did before.

    Cool.

    At least now it works.

My body may be at the computer, but my mind is "gone fishin".
