    1) Thou shalt have no other sport before fishing.

    2) Thou shalt proudly boast of thy catch.

    3) Thou shalt exaggerate wildly about the one that got away.

    4) Thou shalt not sleep past dawn.

    5) Thou shalt clean thy own catch.

    6) Thou shalt not give away the secret of thy success.

    7) Thou shalt honor thy ones too smart to be caught.

    8) Thou shalt practice thy sport as often as possible.

    9) Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's reel.

    10) Thou shalt give thanks to god, creator of all nature, for the catch of the day.

i guess someone hasta divide from the old fishing commandments..... i love them all sept for: tho shall clean thy own catch,BUT if another fisher wants to take part in the eating of said catch he/she must PUT IN ON IT, thus they should clean/cook thy food, if they have nothing more to offer or face the fact, they will not be as welcome to the next fri, rule override is when  the non catching party  has da boat!

commandment 11 - tho shall spend at least 1/3 of income on fishing(this would include gas, lures, lunch, boat, rods, reels)!

I like all of them except #4 and #6. I used to ba anatural early riser but now it depends on how well the aches and pains let me sleep and if I am successful I am always happy to share--maybe it is the boy scout training in my youth.
I also think coveting ones neighbors reel is probobly safer than the wife---less likely to get you shot.
