I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Charlie Hall. Charlie has been talking catfishing with me for several years. I will miss his presence amoung the fishing community. The Mighty Rat

Loki mentioned it would be nice to see a card from all of us to go to Mrs. Hall. I sent a card with all members names who posted and a copy of the post made to Mrs. Hall. A Thank-you card came today. The card reads Thank you. To thank you for the kindness that you took the time to show, and to tell you that it meant much more than you will ever know! Mrs. Hall wrote, I find a great deal of comfort in knowing that the last few years of his life were made much happier because of the friendships with his NAFC and justplainfishin.biz buddies. You all made him smile again and look forward to life. He regained his zest for living. When he was diagnosed with heart disease 12 years ago, he became very depressed because of the physical limitations that were part of the disease. Please share my appreciation to all of those who posted. As i read them, I wept uncontrolabley but at the same time found a great deal of peace because I knew he died a happy man, and I will be forever grateful that he had you all. Again, Thank you so very much for everything that you meant to him. Please continue to keep me and our daughters in your prayers. Forever Grateful, Taffy Hall / |
