yea that sucks, i always wonder why books are more too? but if you don't pay for the club even better then you won't care as much when it drops out again, you can still post here, all your missing is the mag, and it realy isn't that much...lol...after all the addvertisements there aint much there.... infisherman mag is way better! hmm to bad there forum isn't this big, i guess infisherman never promised me nothin(it was a gift from the inlaws), but this place sold it to me lock stock and barrel~ i'm glad to have not bought a life time M~ship? i think i'll stick to books from now on after this mag runs out, cuz theses mags repeat the same info anyway... good luck, A! |

If anyone is interested in a huge member fishing forum try this one out, if you miss one day it'll take ya a hole evening to just get caught up and they have a chat site as well, they have at least a minumal of 40 memmbers online at all times, huge amounts of info and mods that responde daily, best of all it costs nothing and won't try to sell you anything but great friendships, well worth a look guyz. http://www.ofncommunity.com/forums/ TIGHTLINES!! DAve when i called them back today i did indeed talk with one of the supervisors, point blank canadians pay $350,runbelievable, and to bout all my mags are shipped out of markham ontario 45 minutes away from my house. I asked the same question another asked here as well, do you fish or hunt , and the response i got was never, if they were fishermen or women and or hunted they would unstand the code of ethics and brotherhood, but they don't, sorry to say it's not about us anymore guyz, it's all corperate, with out you guyz on this site the fishing end would go under, they plug the crap out of this site about all the info and that's what's bringing in the new member, it's not them it's you guyz, without out you they can't keep it going, you guyz line there pockets everyday and get nothing in return, but threw thick and thin you band together and try to make things work, wthout out you guyz this place is nothing, just a advertising space loads of recycled old info, 90% of you guyz look forward to reading the members letters and journals more so than the articles, lets be honest, if this was my mag it would be called fishing frienships and be all about the little guy who does it for the love and not because it's a job, anyhow all this leaves me with a real empty feeling in my gut, and vast since of having been taken advantage of.

Hey Walleye-- Don't let it get ya down! We have all had a round or 2 wid some of them so called receptionists at NAFC. Some of them don't know enough to come in out of the rain. They don't really give a sh** about us . All they are interested in is a paycheck!! And you are right--the bond and friendships on the BB an at the GT's are what it is all about. Maybe someday the will realize that a membership club is just that. A club of members bonded together for a common cause!! Good luck to ya and to our many good friends and comrades in the Canadian Northlands. |

It's a tough one walleyemen but I gotta assume they are charging you the old exchange rate when our dollar was worth about $0.85. The yearly charter dues are about $8 more also. Now that the Canadian dollar is about $0.98, we should be recognized for that and only pay the difference on the 2 cents instead of the preset exchange rate they are billing us. |

I thought so to Wayne but it's $350 u.s they want me to send, the way i figure it is if i send $285 u.s , it's $285 u.s, hopefully they will come around ,if not it cost nothing to be a guest, i'll still be around.
