I am thankful for having the oppertunity to get together and fish and spend time with turnip, rabbit & (Carol), canepole, Dave and Nancy at the fingerlakes meet. I'm thankful to have had my wife come along. I'm thankful for my wife and I to have been blessed to be able to camp and fish as much as we diid this past summer.  It was my pleasure and honor to have met Canepole, he is a standup guy. Every thing Pete told me about him was true.

Now what is it that you are thankful for?

I'm thankful that between my savings, unemployment and severance money from my job in May 2008 that I was able to move back to Wisconsin and spend some time with my Mom, as she will be 80 next spring. No other family members visit her....and though it disgusts me....at least I'm here for her. I don't think I could have been blessed with a better Mom than she has been over the years.

I'm ALSO thankful for ALL of you on this website that have become my friends...and am especially thankful for those of you that I have met and that stay in contact with me through emails and phonecalls. Your friendship is TRULY cherished...and I hope it continues.

Last...but NOT least...I'm thankful for God's love and caring....and the various Angels that watch over me.

I am thankful that I have a wife and two beautiful girls that keep me busy enough to stay off this site as much as I used to be on here.

I'm also thankful that Daves mother had such an impact on him that he chose to move back to be close to her, and step up when other family members wouldn't.

I'm also thankful that I can leave this site for a bit, and still be welcomed with open arms when I get back. Everyone here has taught me a bunch.

Thank you guys/ gals. Happy Thanksgiving.

I am so thankful for friends and family.  Especially thankful this year for my daughter who is two days over due with my first grandchild, a boy to teach all of the finer things the Great Northwest has to offer.  For my health returning to be able to enjoy the many years ahead.

I'm thankful that no one died in our area this summers from the floods that destroyed so much of the landscape and wiped out 600 homes. It changed or affected so many lives. We are still rebounding from the destruction. Most of the roads have opened for that I'm thankful. I'm thankful for all the family and friends that I have.
