Some of you gave me advice earlier this month on places to go pike fishing in Michigan. I took the advice and went to Fletcher's Floodwaters up north, and it was a BLAST! My brother and I caught eight or nine pike, and my biggest was a 28-incher that I caught on my light rod with only six pound line (and a wire leader). It gave quite a fight! It was a challenge to get it in the boat! It hit a green mini spinnerbait. We also caught them on green plastic grubs, large white spinnerbaits, and a bucktail mepps spinner. We caught a bunch of nice largemouth bass and during slow times I caught a mess of little pumpkinseed sunfish. We stayed at Jack's Landing, and it was a lot of fun. Thanks for the tips!
