Well it all depends on were you live ?I live in south central Wi.and I go to whitewater lake or delevan,or Madison has good bass lakes or if you want a small lake go to Stoors lake in Milton or Clear lake to for some good Bass and Pike fishing ...if you want and if you live close maybe we could get together sometime and meet and fish together..? |

well... there are a few lakes and ponds up in midwest wisconsin that are good for bass. im tring to get in to it "hardcore"! wildcat flowage is a smaller pond and i dont know the bass dont get very big in it. i think its because its so shallow the fish die everywinter because it freezes through. ive put chest waders on and walked around the whole thing 30 yds out from the shore. if anyone has any input i would love to hear from you guys and girls. i fish there every summer and go camping for a few days also at the lake but have never caught a fish over 14 inches... please let me know if im doing something wrong or what the deal is. haha. |

I live in the far NE of Wisconsin and fish the Forest County area along with the Ashland County area in the NW part. There are many good bass lakes up this way and an opportunity for a really good fish for the Midwest.

I fish Winnebago a lot and have caught nice large and smallmouth bass. Actually, I can't think of many lakes where the bass fishing hasn't been good if that was what I was fishing for. |

Central Wisconsin lake Holcombe area has a great smallmouth fishery specifically two of the rivers that feed the lake the Chippewa and the Flambeau hold alot of smallmouth ive caught smallies tippin scales at 5 pounds perch colored rapala tail dancers bounced along the rocks get vicious strikes and crawlers drifted under a bobber catch plenty |

Look at any of the lakes in the Oconomowoc area. Lots of bass and musky too. |
