You best say the fish 'cause you are talkin about me if your not. Dale Hallow has some great smallmouth fishing, but the tailwater below the dam is stocked with rainbow and brown trout January through December. Dale Hallow is great, but about an hour and a half away is a great fishing spot. Ft. Loudon Reservoir, Tellico REsivoir, Watts Bar, and Melton hill all meet at the Ft. Loudon Dam. Plus, I - 40 goes right over the dam and three of the lakes. It has some great striper fishing below the dam, and the Bass Master Clasic was once held at Ft. Loudon a few years back. At the upper end of Tellico, there is grerat trout fishing. Center Hill Resivoir is closer, but it has a very high growth rate for largemouth bass, but it is somewhat by itself, except for Cordell Hull. Well, whatever you decide, have fun and catch some monsters. P.S. I caught this one in fort loudon. Sorry ots so small http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/aa194/gfisher27/Grantsfish002-1.jpg

One HUGE thing I forgot to mention. The only problem with Ft. Loudon, Tellico, Watts Bar, and the other lakes is that most of the catfish and bass are not safe to eat. Several areas of the lakes are poluted with PCP. I've eaten fish from there all the time with no serious probelms like death, birth defect, etc. Grant Robinson - Member since Nov. 29 2006,

If you all do Rainy Lake better bring a couple jugs of bug dope. Make sure you post if you all do a meet up there. I sure as heck will do my best to make that one. May your line always be tight and your stringer full. Albuquerque, NM |

Chris, I am not sure who all will be going with but Bob & I are a go for this trip. You are more than welcome to join us if you like. Currently we are checking into lodging in the area, specificly looking for lodging with a dock to keep the boat in the water. If you do a search, post your results here for all to see! I am going to post this info in Bassholes web site so Bob will be able to keep informed. LM since 2005

April you have a good chance for a big-un , as that is pre-spawn time on the Hollow, have lived and fished here since the beginning of time I think, anyway all the docks offer what you are looking for in accomodations. You can fish Tn. or Ky. depending on which license you have, Cumberland river and the trout are just minutes away. Have a Great Time
