after 1000 miles, we were 23 miles from the driveway and this happened. it was a horse crap way of doing it in the first place;however a weld should never break. i suggest everybody find a certified/licensed welder in your area and see if they'll look at your trailer for problem welds. this is my first time trying to post a pic, i hope it works.

Man that looks like a mess, sorry  you had to go through that. What brand of trailer is it?  Unfortunately once you paint over the frame some potential weak spots are hidden. Hope it's under some sort of warranty at least.

As for posting pics if you start a free account with www.photobucket.com, you can load your pics into there, then copy the direct link line and paste it into your post. A lot of the guys here are real good with all the tricks, I know Ice Cube Bob is also very smart when it comes to the pic/posting info.

a mess it was, and it is an escort trailer. don't worry they don't make them anymore. the welds that broke were done at the marina i bought the boat at, so if any body needs welding done ask for certs. a buddy of mine is a cert. welder and looked at the trailer after this happened. he knows what he's doing and said there are 3 other bad welds (factory) and saw this thru the paint. i don't know how but he's gonna fix it for a case of old style, so i'm not going to ask. i figured out the pic thing good enough to post these, thankfully, because i don't think anything i could have written would have the impact of the pics. by the way this happened on I94 south side of the windy 4 lane split down to 2 and i was in the tiger stripes in the middle.
