This post can retire or keep going,but if the government made a law to stop gas motors no one here will have any sayso.Gas motors are damaging the waters along with everything else.

Give a yahoo messenger name to settle the difference or don't reply because they just remove it and no one can see each others response.Everyone can give their own opinion which is what I did,so if you have alot to say give a yahoo messenger name and then everything will get settled over live chat where it can't be removed,otherwise let this post die off,it was a simple opinion that others don't see and if a law took over everyone would have to agree.If you wanna talk trash do it over live chat or leave this alone so it can die off.

Why do you keep posting this?  You say it is your opinon that gas engines pollute the water where you live.  That is fine, we can all agree with that.

But you go off the deep end when anybody wants to debate you. Maybe contact the EPA or 60 Minutes if it is that bad.

   When you start in with the Gov't making laws against them...ect.  That is hypothetical.   Yes, if gas motors are banned, we couldn't use them. But that will never happen, in the real world.  If the gov't made a law that said you couldn't use sunscreen, we'd all be sunburned.   What if....???

   Why are cigarettes not banned.  Or alchol.  There is too much money involved in lobbying, taxes, kickbacks, and so on.

Stop and think how many billions of dollars revolve around the fishing/marine industry.  Commercial and recreational.

We have given you links to the manufacturers that show the new technology in emissions and EPA standards. Did you even look at them?   We do not live in the times of coal-fired steamers like the Titanic, or fuel oil battleships with giant smokestacks. 

If you want to post your opinions, feel free.  Just be prepared for others to share theirs as well.  And if you eliminate your imaginary gov't bans, we might take you seriously and maybe help with your water quality issues, but if you are here petitioning us to get rid of our motors, you're S.O.L.

I have not posted any thing that is out of line. I disagree with what you have posted and posted what I feel is right and that's no big deal. I have not gone down the name calling road as some do. I find that is a waste of time and just puts a end to any learning curve someone could get from read such a thread.  A LONG time ago I read and re-read what you are just posted about and it took me a long ( close to a year) time before I could check that box so I could post on here. I've worked a long time to be doing what I do now FISH and I fish out of a BOAT with TWO Motors on it a 2 stroke 80 hp Merc to get where I want to fish and a 15 hp 4 stroke to troll with do you think I would sit on my hands while someone would try to pass a law such as your talking about ???? If you do you better think again it's NOT going to happen IF there's any thing I can do to STOP IT. You can take that to the bank.

I think it great you believe in some thing and feel so strong about it but that's not going to get things changed the way you feel they should be.
