Can you post some pics? I don't know diddly 'bout antique lures, but I'd sure like to see it.

Dad joined a local H&F club 50 yrs ago. I remember he went after Lake Trout with them once. He bought a wood spool (+) shape, solid copper wire & one spoon. May have fished 1 of the Finfer Lakes (NYS). Caught nothing. The spoon had 1 hook welded on. It was painted: white head, yellow body with black strips & red dots. The whole thing sold @ lawn sale real cheap 16 yrs ago. Thing is, i have never seen a spoon like it. Sound familar? chuck

The spoon, & whole outfit is 50 years old. Not sure if the head was white or black, anyway it was sold, is gone. wish i had pic, better yet the whole rig. Just curious, never have seen another spoon like it, befor or since. Mystery...wondered if some of our collectors might know it's ID. Oh well.... Smiler<!--graemlin::)--> chuck
