I have two Abu Garcia Reels for sale, a 5500 C3 and a 5500 SSC4. I wanted $50/each, but will part with them for $40/each (plus shipping) for NAFC members. They're in great condition. I only used them for a year. I've found that I really like low profile reels better. They both have the original box & paperwork. The only thing missing is the oil, because I used it.

Your questions weren't stupid at all! The last thing you want is to pay for garbage.They weren't used that much. They were what I learned on, but quickly took a backseat once I startged getting my hands on low profiles. Both were then used for topwater - one for buzzbaits, chuggers, etc. and the other one for froggin' - and that was only until I picked up a few more low profiles.

They're still in great shape. Let me know if you have any more questions.
