i dont know, but i can tell you there seriously one of the best rods i have used. i used to spend so much on rods because i am a finicky person.`i like having good equipment, but when a rod is made just as good for like 130 less, ill take it without feeling bad about it. for that price i can grab 2 that will last a very long time in good hands. bass pro rods will be the only rods i will be buying for a while. I like Med Fast action 6.5 ft for the lake near my area, seems like the action just sinks the hooks into the fish with extreme ease.
sorry for so much rambling, im just a really good fan of bass pro shop rods, donno much bout there reels tho.
