    does any one know of good fishing spot in south east alabama slocomb/wicksburg area bass and cat are cool.  I always release! I have recently moved down here from michigan and I'm a woman who absolutly loves to fish!!!

    You should try Lake Tholocco on Ft Rucker. There is plenty of spots to fish there and some big bass. The lake is a flooded creek channel and on the north side it is all trees, so there is plenty of cover. Plus grass and lilly-pads all over the place. If you like top water that is the place to go. I have pulled so monsters out of there even from the bank on east beach. You will need to get a Ft Rucker fishing permit as well as a state lisence. Good Luck.
