I have been planning a trip to go trout fishing in alaska for two years, and also have been saving for two years. My son is currently in Iraq and recently asked if he could come with me to alaska when he returns. Of course I told him yes. Then last november my heating system went kaput and I had to take my alaska savings for a down payment to replace it. From what I have seen, I am not going to be able to save 3k in time to make this trip with my son. I wonder if there is someone in alaska who can put me in contact with a guide service or somebody who can help me make this trip happen. Im not looking for a free ride here, I can probably come up with 2k for a weeks trip, but with airfaire and whatnot, from what ive seen this isnt going to be enough.
