My two fishing buddys and I are planning a trip to Alaska sometime this next Summer (2007). Since we are avid Salmon and Steelhead fishermen, we'd like to go for Halibut, Silvers, clams (and any thing else in season)particularly. We can "combat fish" for Kings here in Oregon! I've personally fished along Kenai and Russian rivers and enjoyed it greatly. Just need some input as to what time (August?) and where(Homer?) and who might we be able to hook up with as far as a guide and/ or comrad NAFC fishin buddy in trade for fishing with us in Oregon (Tillamook, Columbia, Rogue River).
