    I viewed the thread.

Will have to read that about a hundred more times and digest it all properly before i could even attempt to make a post on the thread.

I am upset that others are upset. I am simply glad I still have a place to post than not have a place at all, or that I am even have the hands, fingers and arms to type this post. I guess I may look at things different, not all worked up enough to get that upset. Far things worse in live to worry about...like for my friends in Iraq that are over there now, and for the ones that will never be home to argue a point about a fishing web site gone wrong.

I am not against anyone wanting to change things back to the old way. Having different point of view or passion about the BB. Thats fine with me, just can not expend energy in protesting, getting all worked up over the website changes.

I know the members of our fishing club do not always agree with me, but they respected my opinion, without name calling or bashing, as I do for them. My not posting is not about not supporting or supporting the arguments and points being made.

I just want to go fishing. Live to Fish. And talk about fishing without drama.

I hope you can respect my decision, even though you may not understand.

    TSS

TSS, I think you said it already, no further post needed. Thanks for reminding us what is really important.

Thank-You for taking the time to read the thread TSS. I very much do respect your comments here and believe it or not I even understand most of your reasoning

There are so many curve balls in that thread it`s unbelievable. It was started by Kaiman trying to get a response from the editors. The nuts and bolts of it was, we would like the mag to publish notices for upcoming meets. There are many members of the NAFC that do not use the BB. In my typical novice fashion, I took it upon myself to take it a step further, to get all the members of the BB together, "in one voice". A little unity around here could go a long way I thought. I did not see no down side to it. Many members showed me wrong. A lesson learned. Now i got a tiger by the tail. Time will tell where it goes.

Tight lines to ya TSS, and thanks again.

    Ice Cube Bob,

No worries here. I gathered and understood the main point of the topic starter. I think the editors could and should find space in the magazine to announce and help promote member meets.  No problems with me supporting an idea like this, I do.

I sincerely appreciate your passion for the BB, you have been a very active member on the new board with positive and welcomed post. Your a outstanding angler also (as I have seen from your pictures).

I have sent email to the editors and member services with my issues and have always received a reply or answer for my question/issue. I did not join the "club" with the notion that it was not a business, or that NAFC was not trying to make money from the creation of a "fishing club" did not really concern me. People have different reasons for buying into the NAFC. Mine was simply because I wanted to be part of the C&R contest every year and in order to receive recognition and awards from the contest, you have to be a member. My expectations were no more than that. The BB was a bonus for me, along with the other perks. I have found the Members guide to be really helpful in meeting others when I travel to the lower 48. Heck I met SilverSalmon (Jason) on the BB and he lives just down the road from me here in North Pole, AK. (Korea for now, but he will be back) Maybe never ever get to meet him if not for the BB.

Gained bonus knowledge and relationships with others on the BB. Hope it will continue. I believe the BB will eventually get back to the majority of topics being about fishing related subjects and more members, new and old, will be active on the forum.

Look forward to chatting with eveyone on the BB. Keep staying positive, I get it...Fish ON!!
