Well June is when you will have Kings in the Sustina Valley. It is a weekend fishery (midnight Friday to midnight Monday) for 4 weeks. You will also have kings and sockeyes at Klutina. Memorial Day marks the King salmon openings on the Kenai also. Should be some fishing for sockeye there also.

Are you planning end of June or begin June? How long...Halibut? Lots of choices, sounds like your going to Denali...you have to drive up the Parks HWY through the Sustina Valley to get there from Anchorage.

PM me and I will give you contact number if you want to talk more. I am not a guide, nor an expert, but I can tell you what I would do and where to get the fish your after.

Hope your trip is great and make sure you post pictures when you get home!! Fish ON!

Hey Dennis, I will be coming to AK June 4 for a week of training the AK Nasty Guard. I will be at Ft Richardson. Any suggestions on what equipment to bring for fishing? I will have the 5-6th to fish and possibly the following weekend.

Storeyteller, you going at that time? If you go to AK in June you going to be at LaCrosse in July.
