Went fishing Roosevelt the day after Thanksgiving, water temperature was 63 degrees. Clarity varied, some areas could see the lure 4 to 5 feet depth, some coves could see fish and rocks at 10.
Was fishing rear boater out of an 18ft Nitro with a 150 Mercury power.
Water was very calm, got launched about 7am, the launch ramp and the parking area was sparcely populated.
We fished a few coves with activity through out the day, total caught & released for the day was 12, largest went about 3 1/2 lbs.
Most of the strikes came just as the lure hit the water.
Lures used were cranks, jigs, plastics and spinnerbaits.
If you go and hear a cell phone ringing, it is mine at the bottom of the lake, but we won't go into that!
