I posted the same question on the California forum. I had several views, but not one response. I am hoping Arizonans can be a little more helpfull. I am planning a family trip the first and/or second week of June to San Diego. I am looking for advice or a word-of-mouth recommendation(s) for a 1/2 day or 3/4 day charter boat / guide fishing trip. Please if any of you have had any good experiences with a business out the San Diego area, please share the story and who the business was.

Hi G@point, it's been about 3 years since I did a fishing excursion in San Diego. Had an enjoyable experience, caught several barracudas (Pacific, quite a bit different from the Atlantic sprcies I used to catch as a kid in Florida.). The captain moved several times ,but always ended up over a school of barracudas, so no one caught anything else. You will need a California salt water license (one day permits are very reasonable). Can't remember  the name of the boat I went out on. Have a good, fun, safe trip.
