Went to Parker Canyon Lake this sunday limited on nice trout ...though  no one else on shore was doing well.
    There is a spot straight down from the day use area where a 6 foot shrub is in the water...straight out from there is a great hole......you must cast out at 50 to 70 yards .......three feet off bottom,use salmon egg hooks with two berkley power eggs(they float)in hot pink egg flavor.
    The spot I am also talking about has small rock walls to sit on its nice.....if you walk 300 yards too your left(facing water)there is a small sandy beach for your kids in a cove ...very cool!!!!
