I'll be watching for your reports. I fish lakes Pleasant (most often), Bartlett., Saguaro, Canyon, and Apache. Next time out will be Canyon May 14-15.

The only one I've fished is Cortez Park, 35th av. between Peoria and Dunlap. I never do particularly well there. It's only 1/2 mile from my house, and there is a canal right next to it so you have an alternative when fishing there. I took my 10 year old granddaughter fishing there for her 10th birthday in March and she caught a NICE bluegill within 15 minutes of casting. This was her first fishing experience and within an hour she was casting her new Zebco 33 a country mile. She's a natural!

thank's bass or bass ? one of these day's i am going to buy a all purpose license , that way i can go to the big lakes or canels if i don't get lucky at the urban lakes or pond's . it's a financial burden at times because disability pay just covers the basic bill's and everything else like fishing becomes a luxuary. oh well enough crying for now , let's go fishing !

cortez sucks. mostly getting snagged up. rio vista is smaller but i have got all my big fish there. 21 inch 4 lb rainbow 8.85 lb channel cat. pretty dang good for in town. im trying to graduate to the bigger lakes to beat my record fish now. also trying to get out on tempe town lake. there should be some lunkers in there after all the flooding we had this year. one guy caught a huge channel there recently.
