In a small pond near Degray I saw one tree off in the water and I was using a white and red rooster tail just to see if anything would even hit it. Miscast over the tree and thought I had lost the jig but the little guy slammed it! It threw the hook about 1.5ft away from me in the grass and I moved on around the pond while my fiance took my spot next to the tree using just a small hook and panfish worm on the bottom. The little guy got on her but threw the hook just like before, she recast and he hit again this time she got him to the bank! I guess he must have been hungry lol!
