I moved to Omaha, Arkansas from Houston, Texas about a year ago, the fishing here is so much different, for instance Texas doesnt have any clear water towards the coast and most of it is salt. I have been trying to get used to fishing clear fresh water on Table Rock Lake. but this is proving to be a little harder for a salty guy like me. If anyone has any tips on how to catch the big ones in Table Rock, Please let me know.

Hey Trail  38, try it again my friend. Sometimes you might have to do that a couple of times before it actually works.... BD

I have been a Life Member since 12/92. I live in Blytheville, Ar. in the Northeast corner of the state. I am retired Air Force after serving 24 years and have been retired since 1995. I have fished for as long as I can remember and started Bass fishing in the early 1980's. I've lived in Blytheville off and on for the last 25 years. I would like to get in touch with other NAFC Members if there are any in this area.

my name is Jay and i just recently moved here to Biggers, Arkansas last month from Maryland and just today joined the club and have already gone fishing here twice on the black river and have already caught two nice white bass one was 14" and the second was 23" and what a "HAWG" couldnt believe i caught them both with a spinner bait from the boat ramp in late February  not too long after the ice storm and right before the snow storm on Sat. Feb. 28. anyways being used to southern Maryland and having the best of both worlds with fresh and salt water on the Chesapeake bay and its tributaries im very much looking forward to the full fresh water transition with the spring and summer months ahead and am looking forward to going back out this weekend since the weather is supposed to warm up. even if the rivers still a lil high and murky im one of them people who would rather be fishing and catch nothing than to not be fishing. well thats enough about me and i hope to hear from someone soon in response to this and maybe ill see one of yall one day on the water and may mother nature bless your lines with every cast... .

Howdy from Camden,

I am a transplant from Texas...Moved away from Dallas to the Peace and Quiet of Arkansas. I have a brand new WarEagle and noone to enjoy it with during the week. Wife comes in on the weekends. Last year I was put on long term disability and now they will pay me tonot show up....where was this when I was young? Anyway, I am a former Marine, father of two grown daughters, and granfather(granpaul nickname)of 6 grandchildren....and greatgrandfather to one greatgrandson! Been known to fish in farm ponds or large lakes...really doesn't matter I just like being out in Mother Nature...

Well Jed, Camden is about 30miles plus or minus North of Magnolia, so we are South Southwest Ark - White Oak Lake is nearby as is Bragg Lake....This is Ouachita County...That's about all I know I just moved here last January. Hope this helps.
