I went Fishin at Monte Ne 5/9 not much happened on the end of my line. Lake was way up loads of rain.

I caught a few Bream on crickets & a few Bass on small Rapala crank baits.

NO CRAPPIE!!!! Whats up with the Crappie I was catching a few first part of April when the water was around 56 deg.  Ive tried every thing I guess the weather has it in a mess???

I did catch some White Bass at War Eagle Rec. Aera last week of April- Its was GREAT fast and furious.

 

Anyone havin luck with Crappie?

im in N.E. ARKANSAS and havent caught a crappie in over a month dont know what the deal is, i was catching an average of 15 a day for like 2 weeks over at the duck levy offa highway 67 but its like somebody turned off the spiggot lol and the rivers over here are so high right now their flooding the fields , current river, black river, and fourche river but im still catching bass over on black river at shaeffers eddy on minnows right from the boat ramp even with the river up so high as far as crappie i think we have to rely on the ponds right now atleast the ones that the flooding rivers havent swallowed up
