My name is Jason I am from Northern California, and I do most of my fishing around the Bay Area, saltwater and freshwater, I like to diversify, I do not have a boat but own a pontoon craft for lake and river fishing. For saltwater fishing I mainly rely on piers around the Bay Area, I currently live in Palo Alto, am 30 Years of age, and am a avid angler at heart.

Greetings,

My name is Tony Belli, I'm 50 and live in the California Sierra near Lake Tahoe. I started fishing in 1980 and it is my sanctuary from life. I fish mountain lakes, reservoirs and streams for Bass, Trout and Mac, and I love eating them as much as fishing for them. My hound dog loves to eat em to.

I am retired from law enforcement and work from home today as a writer. I'm working on my 2nd book.

Anthony M. Belli, Trophy-Lifer

Hi everyone, I'm Jason from Clearlake. Enjoy fishing with my wife and our daughter for Bass and Cats and what ever else we can come across. The wife and I used to fish when we were kids, long before we met and we are just getting back into it and having a blast learning everything we can.

Hello, all. I'm Scott Randall and I guess I'm just reestablishing myself back onto the forum. I was the original poster of this thread back on June 11, 2007, and I've just been so busy with life and other hobbies and forums that I let this one go away. What I lost was a lot of new found friends and acquaintances from this forum since I've been absent. I see that I'm now considered a "new member" with only 2 posts, but I was quite the poster 3 and 4 years ago. Time to get back into it and see what's going on around this state of ours. Just a refresher about myself: I live in Central CA (Lemoore) and I love to fish for about any fresh and saltwater fish. I have my own bass boat (2003 G-3) and take it to many lakes and rivers from northern to southern CA. I'll often get on a "cattle boat" out of Point Loma in San Diego or Virg's in Morro Bay. I've caught marlin in Cabo and tarpon in Key West so as you can see, I enjoy fishing. I retired from the US Navy in 2003 but now work as a contractor for a Navy squadron. We travel often to Key West for Navy training and take full advantage of the fishing that area has to offer. Anyways, now you know a little about me, I'm hoping to meet up with from fellow members for some local fishing. BTW, my wife and 17 yo daughter enjoy fishing and camping as much as I do. Well, maybe not nearly as much as I do, but they can't pass up any fishing themselves. We all fly fish for trout and tie our own flies and custom make our own fly rods. Thus my new username, "Troutinator".

What's up guys n gals,

I live in Torrance (20mi south of Los Angeles). My main stay if fishing the salt, with main targets based on season. Winter time I target rockfish from the Channel Islands to Mexico, spring time is white seabass, rockfish, and bass prep time. Summer, hmmm if you live here you know the drill. Calico and sand bass, baracuda, yellowtail, white seabass, and TUNA!!! Fall sees more of summer fishing with a mix of offshore tuna and tails. Cortez Bank for hardcore yellowtail fishing and tuna.

When all else fails I go for trout during the winter to spring and catfish summer and fall...

Tight lines and screaming drags...
